Prospective applicants are encouraged to schedule a pre-application appointment with an admissions officer who will assist the candidates in making application decisions.

The Admissions Committee will examine applicants for evidence of qualities appropriate to the practice of Oriental Medicine, including general education, motivation, level of maturity, academic ability, and communication skill.

THE ADMISSIONS INTERVIEW

In exceptional circumstances, the Admissions Committee may choose to arrange a telephone interview.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
Academic success at Edgewood is dependent upon the student’s ability to
communicate in English. The ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English must be well-developed in order to learn material with full comprehension and in a reasonable time period. This level of proficiency is greater than that required for daily interaction. Therefore, every effort should be made to perfect English skills prior to entering the college. People educated outside the U.S. in non-English-speaking institutions are required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Lanugage (TEOFL) and achieve a minimum score of 500 on the written exam, (173 on the computer-based exam, or 61 on the Internet-based exam) and at least the currently reported mean score on the Test of Spoken English (TSE).
NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY
Applicants are considered on the basis of individual merit without regard to handicap, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, creed, race, national origin or ethnicity. This policy applies to admissions, employment, financial aid, and all other matters within the college.
